Last night I was fortunate enough to visit Barry Fitzgerald in Timaru. Barry is a member of the one track minds modular group in Christchurch, and his modules also form part of his home layout as well. Barry's skill area lies in his scenery making. His re-creation of the limestone country found in the back blocks of Caterbury and North Otago is absolutely spot on. Unfortunately there are no pictures to show this due to a cock up on the camera organising front. The guilty have been disciplined and it may yet prove possible to rectify this.
There was also a plan to go out to Pleasant Point but this has been defeated by the very cold weather plus the fact I can't be arsed today.
