On Tonights Show...

AM Fet writes: Apparently I'm a bad influence. And the worst example of this might have something to do with the arrival on the scene of some etched brass detail parts from Marks Model Works (AKA Cabbages Patch).....which is suprising, seeing as he is a confirmed Sn3½ modeller.

"Here, have a look at these", spake he, and thrust a small bit of folded tissue paper the size of a business card into my hand. Hoping beyond hope that I had just taken part in some illegal transaction more familiar to the mean streets of downtown Wellignton rather than the leafy subburbs of Lower Hutt, I was strangely disappointd to find it was another of Cabbages etched masterpieces....but then wildly thrilled that it might actually be something I could use after all.

The item in question was a set of finely etched brass ladders that were designed to complement some scratchbuilt CB's being built in the garden city, but they would look superb on the TrackGang hopper wagons (I'm told they can do double duty as locomotive steps). Etched in 0.25mm brass, a fiver will get you 4 ladders (enough for 1 wagon with some spare).

Orders can be placed initially through the Head Druffs gmail account (must warn him about that).

And if you think thats great, you should see what other seeds I've planted in his overactive mind....

Great. Have to order some. Can he do etched walkways, or do you not have much call for them on NZ wagons?
