Just for a change today from my Ed project and other out of scale witterings we bring you shots of todays railway.
These are from Drew.

'This was going to be captioned 2 pair, buts its quite obviously 3 of a kind.'

And from Amateur Fetler, a gold train at saltwater creek south of Timaru.

Taken in my favourite valley between Manutahi and the Manawapo Viaduct...

I have often said to Am Fet that it would be a supurb valley to model in NZ120.... I just have to get hold of some aerial shots of it or a decent topo map to show y'all what I mean.

You can download topo maps for free from the Land Information NZ website. They are the same ones you buy in a store just digital, files are about 80MB though so fairly large.

Google earth has good satellite photos of most of the country. They are usually better than most aerial photos as most publicly available aerial photos are quite old.
