Pointed Comment

DB says: for those of us lacking the ability to craft custom iron roads with a deft wave of the soldering iron, I note that Peco has recently given the snap-track planning department another option with the addition of an N scale three way point. That is all. Carry on.

some people practise zen buddhism; other people make their own trackwork.

Main difference is zen buddhists dont swear as much while practising...

theres more to it than just a desire for longer sleepers eh?

I prefer to think of it as tai chi with a soldering iron.

And I only sleep in on weekends....

inspiring stuff at convention with Herr Druff's Tai Chi sessions. although i think its pronounced Tight #@#! jeez!!
i'm enjoying working with code 55 rail and points for first time and they look great, but very hard to get straight track (prototypical anyway) i will definitely have a go at handlaying when i get around to my version of a bush tramway eventually.nice to hear from kiwibonds. i thought he had got lost in the wilderness of upstate New York in his BMW, Merc. Oh sorry,i meant Audi (they are all German anyway.Shhsh!don't mention the war)

Yes, tai chi, although the smooth moves are interrupted when one places the iron on the cord Ive found..

But tru;y there is something immensely satisfying making pointwork, and Im just using enormous code 70.

So Im not quite as near the state of bodhisattva as you miniaturists..
