When the wife and kids are away, men get up to things. Some go out with mates for a night of drunken debauchery. Some stay in and dress in womans cloths. Amateur fettler has a different vice.

The train is 547 at Whareroa Dairy Plant ready to transport 16 empty OM tankers back to Palmerston North. As it was a Saturday, they 2 DC's from Stratford were getting rotated to Palmy as well. Total train length was 287 metres.
We crossed 544 At Wanganui with DX5120 and DXB5074 on the head, which was very noisy up Westmere Bank out of town.
A superb way to spend a day, and thanks to LE Andrew Hamblyn (Drew) who made it a special trip, bought me chinese for tea, then let me drink his beer....
